As per the saying, the health plays a major role in a person's life. A
sound mind and a healthy body is essential for a healthy life.Today's
children are the backbone of the developing India.The future of the
nation depends on today's young children. It's our duty to bring up our
children as strong and healthier kids.
We should remember and follow certain things in our mind for a stronger India.
Years before the pregnancy, the cells of the body
produce antibodies against the intestinal infections.These antibodies
defend us against infections such as cholera and rota virus. But once, a
women starts breastfeeding, these antibody producing cells move to
mammary glands. So, when the baby starts having breast milk, the
antibodies goes straight to the baby's intestine and helps in
developing the immune system of the new born babies.
The breasts produce colostrum beginning during pregnancy and continuing
through the early days of
breastfeeding. This special milk is yellow to orange in color
and thick and sticky. It is low in fat, and high in
carbohydrates, protein, and antibodies to help keep the baby
healthy. Colostrum is extremely easy to digest, and
is therefore the perfect first food for the baby. It is low in
volume, but high in concentrated nutrition for the newborn.
Traditional and nutritious cereals like jowar, millets, bajra should be
included in our daily diet. These are high in nutritional value. These
must be consumed a lot in the place of the junk and oily foods. The
fast food culture which is a fast approaching and a threatening demon
to our healthier lives should be eradicated from our society. The intake
of fresh vegetables and fruits help in leading a healthier life.
3. Exercise and Physical Work:
The exercise and physical work help in keeping our body fit and
healthy. Now a days, the advancement in science and technology have made
our lives very easier. There is a lack of physical work among the
people. There should be some physical work in our daily life.
The use of bicycle which burns calories instead of automobiles which
consume lot of petrol and diesel, which emits lot of carbon di oxide
and carbon monoxide in the air, which is the major cause of several lung
and respiratory disorders. Moreover, riding the bicycle is a great
exercise to our body, which helps us to keep away from diabetes and
obesity.
4. Awareness about Cleanliness:
The awareness about the cleanliness should be developed among people.
The ill effects of littering in public places, their effects on the
healthy life should be known to the people. Smoking in public places
should be eradicated. Severe punishments and charges should be given to
people whole exploit the environment.
5. Outdoor Playing:
Encourage kids to play outdoors rather than sitting in front of
computers and play games for all day. Moreover, outdoor playing
develops confidence in the children. It helps in developing physical
abilities, which makes themselves feel positive about themselves.
These are the few simple things that can be followed in our lives to develop a more immune and healthier India.
